Trying the 24 hour fast one day per week

So after the post put up last week about fasting for 24hours once a week I started doing a little research and was shocked at the results some were getting.
I always though something like this was for weight loss but come to find out it actually increases GH production for 2-3 days after the fast by as much as 30%.
Today is my first day doing it and I had my last calorie at 11pm last night and plan to go the full 24 hours.
Its been almost 15 hours and its not that bad im just drinking a ton of water with a splash of lemon juice and had a cup of black coffee. I am going to do cardio only today just to see how my body reacts.
Ill keep updating this and let you all know how i feel.

I thought this was going to be alot easier haha.. only 3.5 hours left to 24 hours and I am starving! It hasnt been bad until about 2 hours ago after I did light cardio and abs then the hunger really set in. I hope this is as good for the body as they say because I passed up cheesecake already today and im not the type to pass that up.

For years I have been dispelling the myths about how much protein your body can use at once. I have a cousin who is about 230 lbs and just a wall of muscle who will still not eat more than 30 grams of protein in a meal because he doesn't want to waste any.

I have often said that I eat "small" frequent meals just because it is impossible to eat an entire days worth of food in just three sittings.

Our digestive system, and our whole body, is made to take food in and process it when its plentiful and then store it up inside ourselves for times when it is not.

Also under this same subject is post workout nutrition LOL. Did all the food you ate three hours before working out magically disappear because you lifted weights? LOL.

I always advise eating after you work out, but that is just because you should be eating anyway. I have noticed zero difference in drinking a PWO shake or just having half a chicken, some mashed potatoes, and veggies.

yep I just eat when im hungry.....only time I time my meals are my pre workout and PWO......I kinda have to cause pre workout im sleeping and post workout I go right to work so gotta get it in when it fits in!

Well I made it the full 24 hours and woke up to an insane B movement and went from 226 yesterday am to 218 this morning so something def. cleaned out haha last night right at the 24 hr mark I tried to eat a huge meal and only got 10oz of chicken and a cup of rice down and was more full than ever. I also slept great last night best Ive slept in months and woke up feeling full of energy and not groggy like I usually do.

Did it suggest meal size on your first meal after the fast? I would keep it smaller and lighter. I know if I don't eat for a while I want to eat a house but end up in pain from over eating.
