FWIW I personally notice a dramatic reduction in DOMS when I have an intra-workout shake with EAA's and HBCD. That's the only time I use them though. I can't drink protein powder of any kind without significant gastric distress but handle EAA's and BCAA's just fine which makes them invaluable to me.
