Thanks. I miss the old me. Don't know what has been the issue. Laziness really is all I can chalk it up to. No bullshit excuses.

MG, I put fat on my obliques and chest first. And you can't see it in that pic. But it shouldn't take long to get back in shape.

My calorie intake is set at 1700 to 2000 a day. Closer to 1700 at first. I'll adjust accordingly. Considered going on a kero diet but will hold off and see how the 40/40/20 does.

1 tbsp blackberry spread
1 cup almond milk

Lunch - 431 calories

4oz Chicken breast
10 black olives
21g croutons
3 tbsp Newman's own lite balsamic
2 cups romaine lettuce
1oz shredded cheese

Snack 2 - 200 calories

5oz chicken breast

Dinner - 448 calories

5.75oz chicken breast
1 cup brown rice

Snack 3 - 30 calories

1 cup almond milk.

Totals - 1754 calories.

174.2g protein - 41%
111.4g carbs - 26%
62.6g fats - 33%

Need to up the protein a smidge. Otherwise I'm happy.

Seeing you back to logging is killing me. I'm younger than you, haven't nearly died from a heart attack and haven't been able to pull my shit together in 3 years. I need to hit RFG boot camp.

8oz Almond milk

Today's total is 2138 calories

Protein - 158.5g - 30%
Carbs - 145g - 27%
Fats - 100.6g - 43%

A tad high on fats. But rather be higher in fats than carbs. No workout today but I will go do some cardio. I'm going to try to hit both same day but if I miss due to time I will try to make it up the next day.

Not looking forward to legs. Last time in the gym doing legs I warmed up with 4 sets on the leg press then second set in on squats I damn near tore a hamstring. Hobbled for a week.

Thanks GF. Felt good went up easy. Feels good to get back at it.


Hit the gym tonight. 60 minutes cardio @ 3mph 2.0 incline. I'll slowly work back up my pace.

No gym today. Macros are off. Almost evenly divided. But I'm ok. That half cup of pineapple was good.

Today's meals..

1/2 cup oats
2 hard boiled eggs
1 tsp butter
1 tsp blackberry fruit spread

Snack 1 -320 calories

Whole Wheat wrap (small)
2 tbsp peanut butter
1 tbsp blackberry spread
1 cup almond milk

Lunch - 431 calories

4oz Chicken breast

3 tbsp Newman's own lite balsamic.

1oz shredded cheese

Snack 2 - 240 calories

6oz chicken breast


Dinner - 564 calories.

3.5oz Barilla plus pasta
1/8 cup Newman's own Sockarooni (awesome stuff)
3oz ground beef


Snack 3 - 41 calories

1/2 cup pineapple

Bedtime pill drink. 30 calories.

1 cup almond milk..

Total calories. 2065

Protein - 173.6g - 33%
Carbs - 173.5g - 33%
Fats - 80.1g -34%

I don't think I could do that again if I tried. Lol.
