Cheese Cake

So Saturday I decided to do my own cheesecake with protein; I checked some recipe and I was like hmmm ill just my own

so I took

- 2 bar of cream cheese
- 4 eggs
- tablespoon maple syrup (Quebec one the real one!)
- 3 scoop of casein vanilla (ill try whey next time)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 900gr of plain greek yogurt;

mixed the crap together; put in a mold for 45min at 425; then 2 hours at 200 for 2hours let it cool for an hour and then put in the fridge

as for the top, I used blueberries and rasberries and put them in the blender nothing added.

not bad! Soviet wife dislike, doesnt taste like gulag!

Nice brother!

Here is my keto cheese cake recipe.

Crust
1 1/2 cups almond flour
1/3 cup cocoa
1/4 cup sweetener (I prefer swerve granular)
5 tablespoons of butter (melted)
Mix the ingredients up before adding the butter. After you add the butter you can push it down with your fingers into a 9 inch pie pan. I usually wear rubber gloves, so it does not stick my fingers.

Filling
1 cup heavy whipping cream
3/4 cup sweetener (again I use swerve)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Heat this up on the stove to dissolve the sweetener. I generally let it cool before adding cream cheese and peanut butter.
24 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
1 1/4 cups of peanut butter
Mix it until the cream cheese and peanut butter blend together. It may take a few minutes. You can substitute peanut butter with butter and add some other extracts if you want a different flavor. I tried strawberry once. It was alright, but nothing like peanut butter.

Topping
3 tablespoons butter
1 ounce unsweetened chocolate
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Heat it up and drizzle it on top of the cheese cake.

I put it in the freezer for 30-60 minutes to let it set then it is ready to eat. It makes 16 servings. Yes, I know those are small, but when you are on keto even a small serving can lift your spirit. It comes out to around 9 grabs of total carbs per serving. I have eaten a couple servings in a day and still stayed in ketosis.

Damn, wish I did not click on this one. Now I crave cheese cake. Could be keto recipes for sure.

Seriously, is it strange I crave cheesecake at 9:45am?

Not at all. Usually if I have some keto cheesecake it is for breakfast!

Saturday I tried to modify it because my wife wanted a protein supplement free one;

I added 750 gr of cream cheese instead of 500; a bit less greek yogurt and 4 eggs

and I added choco chips LOL

it is a total disaster
