Bilateral shin splints (so painful that I had to take breaks and stretch). This sucks.
I keep losing weight. I definitely need more vegan protein because my muscles have melted (I understand what you meant by muscle cannibalism GF).

When I woke up this morning my whole left side (from my head down to my leg) hurt. Probably a pinched nerve. I took 5 drops CBD oil earlier, put on my neck brace and walked 14 kilometers (nothing strenuous, running errands). I will take Diazepam tonight. I have a bad headache.

I won't lift weights until this has healed (chiropractor or acupuncture on Monday).

Motrin or Mobic and alternate between heat and ice. The heat and ice really only helps for a brief period afterwards. It really only fixes itself after sleep, which tells me it is muscle strain that is pinching a nerve.

Celebrex 200 helps (for 8 hours or so). Mobic hurts my stomach (I already have a bad gastritis).

SOunds like you are having a rough time with the hurting stuff. I do the same as GF but I do not have mobic.

I have had my neck hurt all the way to my hip. Dr. said I strained it and the swelling caused it to pinch a nerve. Reduction of swelling would be my best thought. lots of ice and a celebrex will speed recovery I believe some but laying off until it is better is all there is to do if it is like what happened to me.

12 kilometers

The chiropractor worked on my shoulder, neck and stomach this morning (I didn't know that stomach could cause shoulder/neck issues). It took 1 hour. I feel better already. I have another appointment next Tuesday.
