ketones are too high. First test was 5.1 and then hours later after eating 2.7

Update. I dropped the exo ketones to see how that went. Then I ate my face off for 2 days. Carbs up the ass on fathers day and woke Monday still in ketosis. This week before training I took in 1 gram of sodium via salt and chicken broth. I felt awesome this week. Which has happened before so gonna give it another week or so before I get excited.

yeah you will have residual ketones for some time. Probably not in ketosis. (are you using sticks or meter?)

Would be nice if you slip back in without the flu.

I'm using the blood meter. So far so good. See how the next couple days go

Cool bro, hope it continues to go well for you. I have a friend, she just started keto and has lost like 10# in 2 weeks. much of it water weight and she has a lot to loos so I hope it will get her to her goals.

I'm really stuck I want to go Keto, but especially right now it's hard since I'm 16 days out from my fight. I'm most likely going to have to wait till the end of the summer, and start then see how things go maybe start Keto then.

Yeah too close to change now. I started 2 weeks out from Boston Open and it wasnt enough time for my body to adapt. I was dead out there.

Agree. If you are going to compete in ketosis the longer the better. 16 days is not enough. Hell changing your diet is hard. I dropped carbs by 75% before my boxing match and had the cardio but my strength sucked and I was weak.

Sparring within a month of starting keto is a bitch.
