Probably that old ass Rossi 22 pump that my old man bought for me before I was born. I used to come home from kindergarten and take either the 22 or the 410 and just roam the woods, murdering squirrels and birds, until the ammo ran out. When I came inside for more ammo.....the game got cut short. Put it up and get the bb gun, because them bullets ain't cheap boy.
At 7, I remember getting the webbing of my hand hung in a S&W model 41, but I still won the $5 one of Dad's buddies bet me on shooting it. The world has changed, and I've done my kids a disservice by not giving them those memories.

Swellin, I hear ya. My son has gotten to shoot a lot but not go out in the woods with a .22 by himself and explore. Some of my best days were me and my cousin exploring the thousands of acres of timber behind my uncles property. Remember the milk carton of .22 ammo? 1,000 round for $4. We could go through it in 3 days.
