If you want a scare about cholesterol GG will get you there. I on the other hand don't put much faith in cholesterol fractions as predicters of heart disease since I saw the fraud occur in real time in the scientific literature as big pharma paid off scientists to fudge results. It becomes predictive when you have a genetic predisposition like one of your lipoproteins is wacked out or your levels are very high, Even so, as far as the really high, some of the longest living families have really high cholesterol totals.

If you want low HDL then take an oral. TRT level amounts shift the values around in some people. Now excuse me while I go of in a corner, tale some T-bol and have a heart attack.

Increasing your Omega 3's should have a positive effect on your HDL.

Take more fish oil. I take about 10 grams a day and it keeps mine in the mid 30's. Without it I'm in the low teens.

interesting. So what are your thoughts about someone like me with high LP(a) and a small amount of calcium build up? Could be nothing? Just something to keep an eye on?

So my daily regimen is 1000 Niacin, COQ10, A ton of high dollar Omega 3 fish oils, Reservetol, and 30 minutes cardio. I rarely eat red meat, most protein comes from fish and chicken, of course I dont smoke, I have always played the long game. And at 53 I have done well compared to many of my family who are already half dead at 45 and spend way too much time at doctors. I hate medical problems and I never let vanity even approach being detrimental to the long game. Of course Im not some super jacked guy anymore either, but big is slow and I like speed and agility, over strength for the lifestyle I live.
