This issue has been resolved 100%. No issues now at all, I can even run slowly on the treadmill without any pain.

Thanks

Just take it slow, shinsplints take a while to fully repair. Glad you found your answer.

ScarletG is on a distinguished road
My boyfriend (actually, soon to be hubby ), had a similar issue, and it's definitely caused by shoes. We tried everything (didn't even think it was the shoe issue, but some injury) and then I bought him these for birthday
However, I have wrist issues myself, and as far as I can see there's nothing I can do/wear to help me with that. :/

If it starts up again you probably have compartment syndrome, which sometimes requires a simple surgery to relive the the pressure in the anterior portion of your lower leg.

Great to hear brother. If you start having probs again. it is the shoes not supporting and being worn out. I get a new pair of orthopedic running shoes every year in the spring (i don't run for several months during winter)

amazing that relief was just s shoe away

I used to keep two pairs of kicks back when I did a lot of running, both different times of purchase. I would put the date I first ran in them on the tongue of the shoe to keep note of their age. I had a good idea of my weekly mileage and would keep track of it. At 200 or so miles I would start looking for a new pair of kicks and would replace them at about 300. Never had shin splint issues doing this, I was heavily involved in running for about 15 years. My back is shot but my shins are like brand new.

All is still good. I can hit the treadmill for an hour without any issues now.

Thanks for all the advice!
