I have instability but that's because the LCL/ACL were torn (back in the 80's) and never repaired. Both menisci were surgically removed. Maybe I have a tendonitis.

I saw the specialist a couple of months ago, he wants me to have a knee replacement but I'm not sure I will have it. He says that there is no cartilage on that knee, it's basically bone on bone and that causes the pain. Doc says "either have the knee replacement or be prepared and live with that pain thr rest of your life".

I know but physiotherapist say that people my age who had knee replacement struggled during rehab and are not able to run anymore because their knee is stiff.

Today was fasted cardio -- 40 min elliptical (easier on the knee) followed by 20 min stepper and a light shoulders/tris workout.

Frontal raises
Reverse flyes
Shrugs
One arm lateral raises

Dips (150)
Kickbacks
One arm extensions

1 set of 45 reps of each exercise.

I feel so tired that I'm not even hungry. My whole body is aching. I guess I didn't fully recover from that stupid virus. Let's stay positive: knee is less sore

That is right MG, stay positive. One thing I have to ask about the knee replacement. The doctor said people your age struggle with recovery. Does he or she know how active and determined you are? I would think your level of conditioning would positively impact your ability to return to normal or close to it; pain-free.

No he doesn't because I saw him only once but I thought he had figured that out since I told him about my aches and pains/injuries (knee, neck, lower back, Achilles)

I'm gonna call him next week. I want another appointment before making a decision.

Today was cardio only.

Fasted cardio:
6 kilometers on the treadmill, 620 cals burnt.
20' stepper

Lunch break
20' arm bicycle

After work
2 hours gardening (I guess that doesn't count but it killed my back).

I woke up at 3 am today (nightmare) and couldn't go back to sleep. I hopped on the treadmill at 3:30 for 7 kilometer fasted cardio (800 cals burnt).

Back/chest

Deadlifts
One arm rows

Push ups (100)
Flyes
Pullovers

1 set of 40 reps of each.

I hope I will sleep better tonight.

I slept 9 hours last night, I guess I needed it.

I had the day off and did fasted cardio -- 5.1 kilometer, (15% incline), 600 cals burnt.

I worked the arms but had no strength and since I hate doing arms it sucked.

Biceps curls
Hammer curls
Wrist curls
Concentration curls

Dips (100)
One arm extensions
Kickbacks

1 set of 40 reps of each exercise.

No workout until Monday since I work all week-end with all my gear on. I have to remember to stretch or those legs and lower back will be stiff.

Good work MG. I am sure the rest did you some good. Also take some anti-inflammatory before your shifts. I always take some as preventive maintenance when I know I am going to be on my feet all day.
