Supplements are good for health?

Protein consumption is very essential for body building; as there are plenty of natural protein sources available which can fulfill the protein requirement of our body. Sometimes that might not be possible to get all those food, prepare and have it, in such case supplements are the alternate option to cover up the requirement.
But my friends and colleagues told me that it is not good to consume protein supplements. And when I did research on internet I came across this post:

The body supplements also encourage people to stay fit which later on show good results in their health. Another benefit could be an effect of caffeine in the body. It was found that those who take body building supplements daily are at a lower risk of getting affected by the side effects of caffeine. This means that their mind is in a better condition than those who don’t take supplements and take in caffeine daily.
We know that those who want to build body need to take in protein supplement. This protein is important for our body as in it increases the mind power, improves the blood circulation and boost the mood. For women, these supplements can improve their strength which would later on help them in various ways.
Every coin has two sides. It is important that before we set our mind, we analyze the both sides of the coin so that we can take a firm decision. Supplements can be bad for your health but then they are also helping you in various ways. This way, you can stay fit and fine. So, decide properly the pros and cons of the supplement and take your stand.
Suggesting supplements are good and helpful.

Now I am confused whether I should go for Protein supplements or I should have to manage on natural resources.
Please give me needful suggestions.

Get the majority of your protein, vitamins, minerals, etc. through your normal diet, and then supplement as necessary. Most bodybuilders need to supplement their diets with extra nutrients because they are constantly breaking down and rebuilding their muscles...

until you reach huge proportions you should be able to supply all the protien you need through natural food sources, how long have you been lifting, what's your weight and height?

I try to get 98% of my protein through regular diet. I use protein powder or a bar only when it is not convenient to prepare my own meal.
