I did 3,5 kilometers in the treadmill before heading to work. I increased the pace to 7 km/g and didn't stretch. I don't wear insoles but I bought a pair gel inserts. We'll see how that works. I wear Asics running shoes on the treadmill and Dr Martens shoes at work (heavy but comfortable).

Nice work MG!

Doc's are a little to flat for me. They do not offer enough arch support for my feet. I like Danner's Scorch, Tachyon and TFX G3. The greatest military boot is Garmont's T8 BIFIDA. It feels really tight when putting it on, almost like your foot will not fit. Then pop your foot slides in like a glove. Aggressive tread and still feels like your feet are touch the ground.
