Been trying to get back in the gym bro, but I'm dinged from feet to neck lol gotta love it though! My goal is to lean out some more, get stronger and really work on my flexibility. If I do F2WPro again I'll be a brown belt, so I gotta step it up with some new techinques. Although I rolled with a black belt this weekend, and I handled him pretty good and he did not like my pressure! hahaha

Looking forward to January my man!

I spoke to my old BJJ coach I have an itch to grapple. they are moving back next year to DFW! I have my Muay Thai and boxing I love and will still focus on but I was in some great shape when I could roll 6-7 five minute rounds (mostly off my back being defensive as I am not good) and still have gas in the tank to roll with the newbs

Awesome, thanks brother. I didn't get a chance to watch all of it but so far it's pretty good. I've definitely struggled trying to find that balance. I just lifted,lifted and lifted some more for years so when I started rolling I kept lifting the same and my body starting screaming at me. The hardest thing about pulling back on the lifting was fear of getting smaller. Now at 40 I'm 20lbs lighter than I was just a few years ago, barley lift and just roll and do yoga and I look and feel better than I ever have. I still need weight therapy once in a while but choking and getting choked is much more satisfying, lol.

I lifted a lot while being laid up this year and put back on some weight. I'm hovering between right on weight and a couple pounds over for this weekend at NY Pro. I'm normally way under. I will keep some weights in at least once a week from now on. At least the compound movements.

Just watched. Good video. A lot is common sense but I'm sure a lot of people just simply don't know the basics or understand their body.
