Holy crap MG. That is horrible. Cat bites can be dangerous. My mom was hospitalized when she got an infection from her cat biting her.

I have no knowledge of remedies for swelling from an animal bite. Make sure you dose up with probiotics after your antibiotics. That is all I have. Does it hurt? because that looks painful.

I recommend ice and a trip to the doctor. Even our pets can carry a lot of bacteria.

I did all that folks.
Doc put me on antibiotics right away. I have a high tolerance to pain so no issue there.
Since swelling didn't subside I went to the ER and they had never seen such a swelling. They suspect I'm allergic to cats. They took some blood and sent me home telling me to take 3 Clavucid a day. These damn antibiotics block me up completely. I eat kimchi and put Miso in my dishes but I guess that's not enough. Which probiotics do you recommend jipped?
I soak my hand in warm water with Epsom salts and ice it regularly.

If you can get Bluebiotics ultimate care probiotic. This stuff is great with like 50 billion critters and 11 stains of probiotic which is what you need. it is also rated one of the best on amazon as it has a very high rate of active cultures. It will get you right again.

Also it is not too expensive.

VSL#3 and Visbiome are the same thing basically and are actually so potent they are prescribed by doctors. Down side is they have to be refrigerated and are expensive but perhaps the best you can get.

try reaching out to your doc. Ask them to prescribe you a probiotic. In the USA anyway docs will do that for you to help you after antibiotic course.

Best of luck, i know that sucks. And you are still training like a badass!
