Geraldine's tanning appears very light compared to the other athletes, this can't have helped her placing.

Well Pezman... She is victim of her circumstances:

1.- She lives at 12.000 kms from the US.
2.- She lives in a country where female bodybuilding almost doesn't exist.

So, the issues she must deal with are:

a) Could you imagine what happened if she is dropping her water, depleting carbs and everything during the tunning before competition and just take a plane during 13 hours, and after other plane for other 3? The alternative is arrive before that... so 2 weeks of hotel it's a little expensive.
b) As female bodybuilding doesn't where she lives, she is training with men and like men. It's a miracle that she has that feminine lines, because she doesn't have very good advices (they are coming from men).
c) She doesn't have access to the necessary products to tan, and probably nor the time either, and the cost outrageous.

As a bottom line, of course she could have a way better performance, because she had too much strengths, starting for her feminine look, lines, face, etc, and a very decent ammount of hard muscles... but for her is even more difficult than the others... After all she is suffering the same that many other people, which is: she was born in the wrong side of the planet

Though the "Mecca of Bodybuilding" -without doubt- can be found in the USA, I must admit that I have the highest respect for the result of Geraldine´s work - I think she looks simply awesome!
