if you're on low carb diet, that extra sodium from cottage cheese should be beneficial. If you can't handle the taste, try slicing pineapple. I personally add grapefruit or blackberry in it.

any heavy acid fruit will make the cottage cheese more palatable... I like raspberries with almonds for crunch

I used to ingest a ton of cottage cheese and tuna back in the day when I was poor....it may sound sick but I would strain the cottage cheese to lower the sodium....but then again back then I thought boiled chicken was a treat and was buying into a low sodium diet year round when it was popular and straining my tuna...the good old days...

Well to be honest, cottage cheese, plain greek yogurt, and sour cream are all forms of racism, just like cauliflower, due to being white.

In order to avoid being a racist, I get my greek yogurt serving and squirt orange crush into it.....the orange crush like those MIO sweeteners that are sugar free. And for the record, Orange is not racist, so it makes it better...plus it is yummy as hell.
