My shotgun is good, and 30/6 is good too.. my dad had them professionally cleaned before turning them over to me.

I want an AR bad! REALLY BAD! Like sell stuff bad! Hahaha... oh my mags, I have 1 loaded with hollow points, and the other 3 empty.. if IF especially now things get hot theyíll be loaded and on my belt.

There is a Bear Creek Arsenal in 6.5 Grendel on Gunbroker right now for $519. Even comes with flip up sights. Better than Anderson, Colt, Core15, ATI, DPMS and Bushmaster at a great price. I bought one for my son for Christmas. It is a tack driver and is put together very well for a basic AR.

Sid can you own an AR in commie Jersey? Or would that trigger too many residents who realize that those guns kill millions of puppies and kittens on their own every day.

My built AR's all of nitride BCG's, so I do not add CLP to those or grease their BCG's.

Weapons that sit in the safe are only greased and oiled after I use them, which is at least once a year.

Depends on the magazine. Single stacks seem to be much more resistant to spring memory. I can keep a single stack magazine filled for a couple months without worrying about magazine failure. Double stacks I try and rotate out more frequently. Also, with AR magazines I never fill them completely. 30 round magazines are generally filled with 20-25 rounds depending on the magazine.
I always keep my mags underfilled - usually 27 for a 30 rounder keeps the springs in better shape

I've been shooting in the rain at the last two classes I've had. Rain and oil= not so good. I put a dab of grease on the three points they recommend for glocks, and along the rail. then I just wipe the thing down with Rust Inhibitor oil.
As for mags, mine get treated poorly. they get taken apart when mud and crud gets in them, but not otherwise. I pretty well leave most of my mags loaded with 1 less than full capacity, but not the one in the magwell of whatever I'm carrying. It's topped off.
Since October, I've run through ~3800 rounds in the two glocks (2950 & 850 ), with no failures using this plan. I load my ar mags 28/30. But I haven't been spending any time on them, so I can't speak to them.

Really? Dirtier than silver bear, wolf or tula? I have some of that but will not put steel case through my rifle.

I do have a bunch of what you just mentioned. Also a bunch of lake city. That is good ammo IMO.

Remington UMC is so dirty many suppressor companies will not honor their warranty if you fired it through their suppressor.

if you are keeping a gun in the cabinet for a period of time WD 40 also works well - it is a penetrant though so never use on a duty gun that is always loaded as it can get into the rounds and cause them to misfire - however wipe down a gun place it in the cabinet til next deer season it works great
