What's on the menu?

Cutting time. What is in your toolbox. I need a few ideas. Even the plain and simple. And how do you not get bored. You guys that compete are on a whole different level than us guys that just want to feel good and look good. But please share.

An omelet I just put together.

Fresh spinach cooked down
Cherry tomatoes halved and tossed in the pan last
Crumbled up sausage
Mushrooms
Onions
Peppers
Cooked in coconut oil

I use 4 egg whites and 2 whole eggs.

Right before I fold it I sprinkle on some shredded cheddar. (Just enough) or some sour cream.

I use that same blend minus the sausage and put it on my chicken breast.

lately I've been eating a lot of ground bison. Usually cook it up with diced onions, red peppers, zucch, mushrooms, Worcester sauce, paprika, garlic pepper, worcester pepper. Then I bake it with jalepeno cheese over the top.

I wish I had the time/energy to make omelettes like that or the ground meat edvedr mentioned

I'm dieting for a show right now, and my food is pretty boring/plain =(

how's the prepping coming along? How far out are you?


here's mine same ol' same meal plan:

meal 1: (pre-workout) 12 egg whites, 3 yolks. 1.5 cups oats with light sea salt and cinnamon powder. Black coffee

meal 2: (immediately post workout) pre mix premier protein shake

meal 3: (hour later) 10oz chicken breast w/ cup of rice

meal 4: 8-10oz lean beef w/ .25 cup of rice and veggies

meal 5: protein shake w/ sugar free pudding and peanut butter powder

meal 6: 7-9oz chicken breast w/ veggies

meal 7: 8-10oz fish fillet w/ veggies

meal 8: (pre bed) protein shake and nuts



drink flavored bcaas water thru the day

It's going pretty well, thanks for asking! I'm about five and a half weeks out, doing the pro-qualifier in Toronto June 1st/2nd. I'm enjoying prep this year, my offseason was kind of shit (I did a stint in treatment, long story...) but I have great supports and the structure does me well

My girlfriend was originally going to compete as well but has decided not to this year, so I was going to do something closer to home (vancouver pro/am July 5/6th for example) but she wants to go anyways and see Niagara falls, make a weekend out of it.

Plus we have friends competing there to cheer on, a girl I used to live with turned pro last year so she's doing the Pro show there on June 2nd

Do so, brother! I like to follow as I'm still trying to learn more trick to prepping as I'm took last year and this year off, hoping to hit the stage at the Haney's next Aug 19'...
