I've been messing around with the myo reps lately. It doesn't work for all exercises. Tried it with dumbell press. It's too hard to rest with heavy ass dumbells in your hand. Squats are one I'm not doing it with either. I might try it with leg press though.

I've only tried it the last couple weeks. The positives so far are I'm getting out of the gym at least 20 minutes sooner. The pumps are excellent! Definitely feeling more muscle soreness. Perhaps that's a negative as I am feeling a bit more beat up.

I had been running a push/pull/legs/arms prior to this. I have given up the extra arms day as I seem to need the extra rest. Figure I'll run it a while longer before reaching a final verdict.

I forgot to fast but I thought it was still pretty good.

Thanks for the info on MYO.

Would not hurt to bump that HDL and drop that LDL man. Your 5:1 ratio is off. should be below 4:1 LDL/HDL. At least that is what my doc told me with 3:1 being optimal. Yeah, unsolicited advice. Just tell me to shut up and I will.

The rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated. Still working out 3-4 times a week. I'm not keeping the training journal currently. Doing legs, pull, push and training more instinctively at the moment.

My weight is hanging around 245-249. I would like this to be lower and go faster, but I have seen some subtle changes over the year even though my weight hasn't changed much.

I have a couple pictures 11 months apart. I actually have the same clothes on so I thought it would make for good comparison.

This was June 8, 2017

I'm leaning out up top and noticeably in my legs. My waist hasn't changed much. It almost pisses me off that I have calf definition and a gut! But some progress is better than none.

Planning on getting the hip replaced this year. I don't have a date set yet but soon. Perhaps that will allow me a little more freedom with exercises.
