Milos Sarcev Insulin Protocol

does anyone have this?
I know a lot has to do with the custom shakes he has people doing pre/during and post workouts.. But I'm interested in the entire protocol

Basskiller, I got this from someone who worked with Milos in 2009

Quick breakdown

PreWO insulin use:
10iu: 50g C PreWO/50g C during/50g C PWO
15iu: 75g C PreWO/75g C during/75g C PWO
20iu: 100g C PreWO/100g C during/100g C PWO

PWO insulin use:
10iu: 50g C PWO/50g C 45mins PWO
15iu: 75g C PWO/75g C 45mins PWO
20iu: 100 C PWO/100g C 45mins PWO


Milos asdvises 15g simple carbs per iu insulin (humalog) if taken PreWO or 10g C per iu if taken PWO. PreWO insulin use, drink the carbs split into 3 shakes PreWO/During/PWO and PWO insulin use, split the carbs over 2 drinks PWO and 45mins PWO.


Pre and post workout meals I use oats as its my favorite wholefood carb source, PreWO meal is around 2 hours before training, PWO meal is 45mins after my PWO shake (note if using insulin PWO my PWO meal would be 45mins after my 2nd PWO shake)

Heres a rough meal/shake layout

Insulin PreWO (10iu dose):

7:30am: PreWO meal 65g Whey/75-100g Oats/20g mixed nuts/1-2 servings of fruit

8:15am: 10iu Insulin

9:00am: PreWO shake 50g carbs / start warming up (takes around 15mins)

9:15am: During WO shake 50g carbs / sip this during training I like getting into a habit of a few sips after each set helps spread intake over the whole of the session and better then gulping it down and feeling bloated.

10:15-10:30am: PWO shake 50g carbs

11:00-11:15am: PWO meal 65g Whey/75-100g Oats/20g mixed nuts/1-2 servings of fruit

2:00pm: Whole food meal


Insulin PWO (10iu dose):

7:30am: PreWO meal 65g Whey/75-100g Oats/20g mixed nuts/1-2 servings of fruit

9:00am: start warming up (takes around 15mins)

9:15am: Train

10:00-10:15am: 10iu insulin

10:15-10:30am: PWO shake 50g carbs

11:00-11:15am: PWO shake2 50g carbs

11:45-12:00: PWO meal 65g Whey/75-100g Oats/20g mixed nuts/1-2 servings of fruit
