Neck pro 2

So I've had a pinching/knot like feeling between my scapula and spine on my right side for 6 months to a year that was getting progressively worse. I figured it was after affects of my shoulder surgery and would constantly(like several times a day constantly) try to massage it out by leaning back against a tennis ball and grinding it into the spot. It never fixed it but seeed to give me temporary relief. Then I bought this neck pro 2 for general preventative maintenance not thinking it would help this problem but after just a week the pinching in my back is gone! Apparently something in my neck was causing the issue....... anyone else use one of these things? I use it for 15 minutes a night and love how I feel when I'm done.

I use it every other day for 15 minutes and love it. The basic concept is that it's supposed to do for your upper back/neck what an inversion board does for you middle/lower back. This thing hooks over your door and hangs down. You push a chair up against the door and strap the sling around your head and neck under your chin. Then there is a rope you pull on and it ratchets up to 25lbs of force pulling up on your head and the idea is that it's supposed to decompress your spine in your neck. Can't say wether or not it actually decompresses my spine or not but it definitely gives me a stretch of my neck muscles I can't get any other way on my own. if you turn your head side to side while it's pulling up your head turns like it's on a freshly oiled swivel, lol. My neck doesn't snap, crackle and pop nearly as much as it use to.... worth a try if you have neck problems, it's only $50 in Amazon.

I'm quite certain I could benefit from this.

Me too but it's kinda scary to actually use this yourself. I think that my former physiotherapist has one.

It looks like you could screw yourself up if you're not cautious.

I'm sure it's possible to mess yourself up but we take that risk everyday in the gym.... one good thing is that when you pull the rope to increase tension it ratchets and only increases a little at a time instead of a steady increase as you pull. The old style had a bag you filled with water to act as counter weight.

I have so much discomfort with my neck. It feels like if someone grabbed me by the sides of my head and lifted me off the ground it would completely decompress and pressure works be relieved. I really need to try this device.

Well if you get one let me know how it works for you. If your neck is that bad I would hope it gives you some improvement.
