Protein Bar
So I checked some recipe online for protein bar and I created my own...
Basically 2 cup of oatmeal 1 to 1.5 cup of peanut butter (all depends how much you like peanut butter) 2 cup of protein (I used casein and it worked fine) half a cup of honey (I used maple syrup because Im a patriot and I couldnt identifies where the bees went pollen hunting such as NY or vermont) choco chips, and dried cranberries Use a food processor; that f*** expensive kitchenair thingie finally has a use! put oatmeal and protein first, let it one minutes, then put the peanut butter; let it work, 2-3min, then the honey, until you see it all consistent then ads the chips andf let it run for 2min more then use a square container and put some waxed paper; put the mixture in, and up in the freeze for 45min to 60min, and then cut it in bar not bad! \\\

I have been doing this for about 15 years. All except the chocolate chips and cranberries. I think I got the recipe from Technobarbie or Halo.

Huh sounds good brother. I used to make em without the food processor. Just mix peanutbutter, whey powder and oatmeal.
Make balls and throw them in the fridge. Texture is as you would expect from whole oats but taste good enough. I will try your recipe.

Yea, most of these health bars and recipes are usually about the same, in that they use some kind of nut for a protein source, honey or agave for sweetening and holding abilities, and then a carb source such as oats, or some form of flour, along with a fruit if wanted.
When Meadows was pushing his Best Ever bars, they were healthy, but expensive. After looking at the ingredients, you can see they can be somewhat easy to make on your own and to save money. I made some for awhile, but then just decided to put them into a shake and drink it like that, rather than wait for them to set and gel together....mainly do to time and wanting something quick, lol.
