Sig Sauer 320 XFive

Iíve been trying to find one for a few months now. Sure weapons are currently scarce. What I have noticed searching around my area is our local gun stores that did have the XFive were putting them up for bid getting crazy prices. I called one store that Iíve purchased from previously when I saw they had two on gunbroker with the bids already at $1200 thinking maybe more for local walk in sales. I spoke with a sales person who knows me. She said yeah, I show two in stock give me just a second and let me put me eyes on them to make sure. Of course she couldnít locate them but I asked exactly which one she showed and what the price was. It was the one 17 round magazine (rather have the three 17ís) for $899. She called back later and said they were apparently sold and no idea of another shipment. I may have to wait until I get one, no way am I paying more than a retail price though.

I'll check with some guys I work with that may still have base have access? One of the guys spent some time assigned to HMX-1 with George W. Some funny stories if true and pictures I wouldn't have believed if I hadn't seen them of an aircraft with stuff dangling from it that I will leave at that.

I believe it. I know a few guys who were with HMX-1 and a lot of guys on Yankee White. Just because you are close to the flagpole does not mean you do not act like a Marine. Haha.

I'm going to be honest with you. I really love my Sigs. But I bought the 320 and I hated it. I hate the length of the trigger pull and I just didn't care for it. I actually traded it off for another weapon but it just wasn't my thing. I was issued the 226 for a few years and loved them and I have one of their 1911s here as well but the 320 just didn't sit well with me personally. It drove nails.... I mean it hit solid and true but I just did care for it.

I have a Legion 229 that I really like so wanted to add to the Legion collection with the 320 XFive. Iím a Glock guy all the way, have six in .40 but there is a story behind each plus Iím more of a collector not really a guy that trades or sales. I appreciate your input though.

Shoot the H&K P30 and you will start to love the trigger pull on the 320. A country mile, that one.

Never owned a sig. I hear they are good. Best of luck finding one.
