I caught a 4 lb'r. it fought like a 7 lb bass. I cannot imagine one over 2x as big. They are ferocious! Even the little 1s and 2s fought like big fish. Hell I caught a 6 lb largemouth while peacock fishing and make no mistake it was a good fight but these peacocks are on a diff level. Those knife fish fight hard too. I guess it is the tough ass Amazon neighborhood they are from makes them tough ass fish.
i watch the less silly monster mike vids. He is actually a really good fisherman and does guide trips for invasive species there in Miami. Next time I go I will pay to fish with him.

That thing is a beast! I have peacock bass in the brackish lake my house is on. Been a while since I wet a line in it...that's gotta change now that I see this, lol. Most of the one's i've caught are 1-2 lb'rs
