Yesterdays meals

30 gram protein
4 oz oatmeal, 1/2 pint raspberries
6 oz salmon, jicama slaw, 2 oz cojito cheese, tomato slices
4 oz sirloin, grilled sweet potato
6 oz chicken breast, angels hair pasta, mushroom wine sauce, broccoli , quinoa
two servings of baked apple crisp with vanilla ice cream

finished the day in a bad way but Darkness can vouche for it, my wife is a hell of a baker and I never pass it up when she's in a mood to bake.....

seated military press 20 x 90 x 2, 15 x 110 x 2
standing DB side dealt lifts 20 x 20 x 2, 15 x 25 x 2
Roman chair knee lifts in all 3 plains 15 x 3
seated reverse rows 30 x 20 x 2, 40 x 15 x 2
Barbell rows 90 x 20 x 2, 125 x 15 x 2

reduced weight a bit, didn't feel the shoulder twinge so alls good....

todays workout

seated 45 degree incline flys 40# x 20 x 2, 50# x 12 x 2
handle grip push ups, 25 x 3 ( last set cheated last 3 reps )
tricep kick back 30# x 20 x 2, 40# x 12 x 2
band crossovers 50# x 20 x 2 60# x 12 x 2
ez bar skull crushers 50# x 20 x 2, 60# x 12 x 2

3 mile puppy assisted walk, damn squirrels are everywhere, lots of hickory and black walnut in the neighborhood, crazy dog was yanking in every direction

misc: sour cream duxelle, chocolate almond ganache, burnt coconut cream, avocado puree

Todays work out


Db raises front then side, 20x20, 30 x 10, 40 x 5 abd
Over head lat pulls 120 x 20, 150 x 10, 200 x 5 abd
seated military press 100 x 20, 130 x 10, 150 x 5 abd
seated rows 150 X 20, 180 x 10, 200 x 5 abd

returned to the pyramid setup, back felt good, the dogs got into a little rumble last night and I took a spill, knee is really barking...lol

For me that's where the problem lies... I'm pretty religious about the work outs. feel good and am in pretty good shape for an old fart... but my diet sucks, some days I take in 5 or 600 extra calories because of the tasting I do while at work...

but... chocolate almond ganache! Haha. I think you're doing great, you nail your workouts so the extra cals from the tasting probably won't hurt!
