Hips been feeling good so I threw in a heavier (for me!)set. I'll back off if it gets irritated.

Seated calves
100/3 sets. Slower than usual with a good stretch at the bottom.

Alternated between the two. A bit of rest after a superset.

curious why you do rows and not pulldowns or pull ups with your back?

That's a good question Jipped. I always used to do a thickness and width movement in a back workout. Lately, I guess I'm just really loving the rows, and have no interest in doing pulldowns/pull-ups. At some point I'll get them back in there.

Circuit tonight

Dips with assist
7 rounds of 10 reps each
Little rest between. Got the heart rate up there.

Was going to do chest press tonight but I seem to have a zinger that lights up under my armpit with that motion. I noticed it a couple times in bed this morning. Guessing it's a pinched nerve as it feels a bit numb in that area.

got it. I love the row too. there is a great hammer strength machine that REALLY isolates my back at my gym. love it


do you have a heart rate monitor? would be interesting to log heart rate during your training. I mean I would be interested...........

when you guys do bent rows how do you keep the lower back in the right position???

I do not bend over that much. I pretty much hold my back at the same angle as the start of a deadlift.
