47 and both shoulders repaired with back and neck disc problems but I still move, look and feel better than most of my friends my age.
I still train and try to powerlift but it does take longer to deal with training and work injuries. My hands hurt from working as a mechanic for almost 30 years.

61, competed in powerlifting for 27 years been training seriously for 40 years. Ruptured left bicep tendon, ruptured right patella tendon and all three quad tendons, torn meniscus left knee, right shoulder pops out of joint from torn rotators and constantly hurts, constant sciatic pain, and the arches in both feet have fallen making it hard to stand and walk. Not to mention 3 hernias repaired. When i am in the gym I feel none of this, so it is not slowing me down enough to want to stop lifting. Still look like I am in my 40's and look much better than other I know.....that all that matters.

Been like that since I was 30. It's crazy how much pain you get used to having and don't even notice it.

I'm much older than you ozzy and never did anything stupid in my younger years (other than athletics, horse riding, tennis and cycling). People say that I don't look my age but my joints tell me otherwise. But strangely enough the more I move around the better I feel because you know what they say "sitting is the new smoking". Doc wants me to have a knee replacement but the physio says otherwise because the knee will be stiff and I won't be able to do most of the activities that I do now ....

What this means for me is that I seldom masterbate more than once per day.

I'm in the same boat took some time off because my lower back. Every morning I wake up a little stiff and not in the good way. I'm only in my mid 30s only pain right now is back elbow and shoulders. Like glyco I've been changing my routine and goals. I don't need to bench over 400 or squat 5 or 600. I just wasn't my body to last.

What I think really has helped me is years back I greatly lowered the weights on squats and deads. I still go somewhat heavy on other exercised but not on those 2. I have some nagging pains every now and again but nothing that has kept me from the gym. The older I get the smart I have to lift. Really hope I'm still at it when I'm 90.

After playing football half of my life up to college; jumping from airplanes, walking hundred of miles with hundred pounds of shit on my dog, abusing my back, knees, neck, shoulders and adding the powerlifting and lifting. I am now 40 but feel 120yo.

But sill, I am in better shape, stronger , more endurance than 20yo rambo I now train; anyway; the way it is we will be 90yo and be stronger than the next generations of pussies we are creating!
