Are you stoked for Wilder vs Fury 2?

The first one was awesome. Technical boxing, tactical defense, big punches, both guys getting hurt. Yeah it was not a light weight fight with constant action but for HWs it was incredible.

I am picking Wilder, I think he had more to learn from the first fight and will make the biggest adjustments. All he has to do is land one. Fury has power due to his size but I think power advantage goes to Wilder. Both guys have great chins.

Both guys can box and brawl when needed. These guys are the new HW division that excites people to watch after Lennox Lewis and the Klitchos and their defensive jab styles with very few chances taken.

Wilder has a defensive style but it is fun to watch. He stays in the pocket or on the ropes and moves his body and head. Amazing for a HW. Wilder has very quick footwork. He plants a lot to throw a bomb but can move super fast if needed.

What do you think? Am I close?

Fury is the best boxer in the heavy weight division and Wilder has incredible power. Ortiz gave Wilder a boxing lesson in the second fight, but it only takes one from Wilder and the night is over. While I would like to see Fury win, as it is probably the best chance we will see a unification bout, but I think Wilder wins by KO.

Wilder hits so hard but Fury has a head the size of a buffalo and he got up the last time he fought Wilder and Wilder didn't knock him down til the last round. Fury also dismantled Klitschko. But when Wilder knocked out Breazeale I don't think I every saw a punch harder than that.

NO!

Wilder is just a killer; and has power; take his power away he doesnt have endurance; techniques and boxing IQ

Fury is more technical

honestly we see Joshua; Fury and Wilder as the top because the division is crap since 15 years especially in North America, we are far from the good ole days of HW

I am not going to say he has the highest ring IQ but certainly it is not low. He can go between throwing big haymakers and jabbing his way in fluidly.

Also I think these three HWs you mentioned would beat the old 80s HWs like Holyfield, Holmes, Frazier ect. They are two big and two powerful. We look back at the old guard in a different light.

Fury moves like a much lighter man. Ali moved well as he was a small HW. Fury is incredible. he rolls punches like no heavyweight. He is entertaining to watch (so is Wilder but because you never know when the nuke will explode) I like these guys, even Joshua who is a technician but not a real exiting fighter but a great boxer.

I know boxing already has too many divisions, but I would not be opposed to a super heavyweight division. Having a 235+ would make it much more competitive. We will never see another Holyfield come out of the cruiserweight ranks and be competitive as long as the heavyweight division is full of super heavyweights.

I would like to see the consolidation of some of the smaller weight classes. You already see guys jumping all over those weight classes. Go back to the original 8 weight classes + a super heavyweight division.

problems with the HW now is that they are mostly fat basketball players; with the reach of 100 miles and move like fat man. We are far from the athletes linebacker type from before with the exception of Joshua and Klithsko and co. The HW is in sad shape; and if you look at the difference between ranking between rank 1 and 5; there a world when in other categories such as middleweight, lightheavy, or light the difference is so slim

Agree with all said. SHW makes sense in boxing and MMA. Most boxing weight limits are unlimited from 200#....

MMA 205-265....

Ammy has a SHW division.
