RESULTS ARE IN: Just a 5 day log of my weight Cut for friday

So I have a NAGA GRappling competition on saturday I'll be fighting in no-gi and gi as a director (over 380 years old LOL) over 40 age group. Last time I cut 21+ lbs in 5 days, this time I'll let my body dictate. 160's for sure, maybe 150's if I can get to 165ish by wednesday

So sunday I started my flush I drank 1 gallon of distilled water and ate good except for the super bowl where I had a couple glasses of wine and food but not alot of food.
Yesterday I woke up weighed 177, had to drink 1.5 gallons of distilled water and ate
9a - egg whites with shrooms/peppers/onions and ground pepper
12 - spinach, tuna, black beans, raw sunflower seeds and almonds, 2tbl spoons canola oil
3p - 12 baby carrots and 12 almonds
645 - 9 trained jiu jitsu
930 - 12 almonds

This morning, I woke up @ 171.5
breakfast 4egg whites, spinach/kale and black beans 2 cups of instant coffee black with no sweetner in distilled water.
12 - kale/spinach tuna, black beans raw almonds
3 - tuna
5 - carrots and almonds

And we'll see how I do

at least it is not a long cut. my cravings go out of control. will check in tomorrow

That diet looks absolutely miserable to me. That's got to be barely scraping the 1k calorie mark doesn't it? I would be so weak by fight time I'd change my mind and drop out lol

So last night went to train and I did doubled the clothes under my gi and wore a trash bag for live training. Brutal but I got down to 170 and was 169.5 this Morning. So today is 3/4 gal of distilled water
8am - carrots & kale juiced with vanilla protein
10a - 4 egg whites and spinach
12n - tuna spinach almonds
3p - carrots and almonds snack
715 - no gi training with sauna suit on maybe cardiovascular after.

Strength is not at peek but I don't mind fighting week. If I can submit bigger stronger guys or defend them week I'm hood to go cause Friday I'll be back up to the 170'same even if I cut to 159. I don't fight till 2p so I should be ok.
Yes it sucks I'm hungry but I have bigger fish to fry and I'm half way there. I'll post layer Tha ks!

Do you really feel cutting weight is that beneficial in BJJ? Not having to worry about weight just had me so much more relaxed. Plus with my physique compared to others in my division I am still one of the stronger guys.
