Need at least one rest day. If you are injured and working those body parts you are going to need a little more rest or avoid that area. I have avoided my shoulder for 10 weeks now. Still hurts when I do supplementary exercises.

You're right as always, GF. I could skip the gym when playing tennis and take the day off on Saturday. I feel terribly guilty when I don't hit the gym .... But on the other hand there are days when I have to drag my *** there. Does that make sense?

Boredom will cause me to overtrain sometimes. I do not have anything to do, so I workout.

More swimming and less impact stuff. You are ful of overuse injuries. I wouod rotate in more swimming and massage and rotate out cross fit for at least 6 to 8 weeks. Then slowly work them back in. You have to get smarter about this stuff at our age MG.

Hey superwomen take a day off. I know that is tough to do but tendonitis takes time to heal. I did not pay attention to it in my left bicep and ended up with a torn long headed bicep tendon. Glycomann is big on.

I swam 50 lengths two weeks ago and my knee swole up like a balloon. It was sore and I could barely walk.

i have been working out around the ITBS six months and the goose foot tendonitis for three months. Being injured sucks. Sports doc wants me to do physio but it doesn't help.

Then do 25 lengths instead and don't push off the walls at the turns. Who gives a shit what others think? Are they ceeling your injuries? To what end are you training through arthritic joint issues and overuse injuries? Wo among these friends and acquainances will nurse you back to health when your tendon snaps or when you need 2 cains to walk down hill? Do you feel you are being selfish somehow by adjusting your activities to heal your body? Honestly, no advice here is going to help ifyu can dismiss good ones with glib rationalization. And the best thing you can do is realize what the damage is and come up with YOUR reasonable plan to heal yur body. Nobody gives or should give a fuk more than you. You own this vehicle your brain travels around in.
