my workout log - fc08

Hi, guys! Hope all is well.

So.. I figured I'd start my own log to share with you and to keep track of my progress.
I plan on updating this training log whenever I'm not swarmed with work so, yeah here's one for today.

But before that, here are my stats and goals:

Height: 5'7"
Weight: 168lbs
Gender: Female
BF: Around 29%
Goal: Drop body fat to 22-25% or lower if at all possible (I mean, why not?!)

Today was leg day for me so I did the following:

25 minutes on the treadmill
3x15 body weight squats
3x15 jump squats
3x15 body weight lunges
3x15 seated leg curls - 1st @ 35lbs, 2nd @ 45lbs, 3rd @ 55lbs
3X15 calf pess - 1st @ 35lbs, 2nd @ 45lbs, 3rd @ 55lbs
3X15 leg extensions - 1st @ 35lbs, 2nd @ 45lbs, 3rd @ 55lbs
3X15 romanian deadlifts - 80lbs
3x15barbell squats - 50lbs
3x15 leg press -1st set at 100lbs, 2nd at 110lbs, 3rd at 120lbs)

Preworkout: cup of home brewed coffee with splenda
Postworkout: low carb rice cakes and a tbsp of peanut butter

I'd recommend adding some protein to your post workout meal. You can't build muscle without protein and building muscle is really important if you want to increase your resting metabolic rate.

Looks like a good leg day!

Like Bubba said, I'd add more protein to your post work out.

What time are you working out? (Presuming morning because of the pre w/o coffee only)

What are you doing during the workout...water only? BCAA's w/water? Something else?

Looking forward to the your log...keep up the hard work!

I would cut back a little on the volume. On the bigger movements, like squat and leg press, I would only do one per workout for the same body part.

I agree protein post workout. Drop the pb, to many near worthless calories. i personally like the high volume, it
will help you lose body fat faster. IMO better results doing the
treadmill after weights.

Hello! Thanks for the feedback!

Yes, I usually workout in the morning, before heading straight to work. And I only do water during the workout. I've always been hesistant to try BCAAs. But I've been doing my research, still looking for the right product I guess. What do you usually drink during your workout? Any suggestions?
