yes "set up" as in a better fighter that did match my style. He was a very good wrestler and I told the promoter my grapling was limited and wanted to at least get 1 or 2 fights before facing a good wrestler. But my guy backed out and this was the only guy,lol. Promoter said hes not that good youll be fine. well he was full of shit and we all knew the guy and seen him fight. but I was not gonna miss out again.
Fight went all 3 rounds of mostly him holding me down. I could of won but as I said I realy wasnt myself. I lost 29-28 all three cards. I had the fight won untill the last min of round 3.

I have seen some crazy setups though. non sanction casino fight for the gladiator challange HW belt. the promoter pulled a drunk dude outta the crowed to fight for the belt,lol. he got KOed 1st round. Its all about money you will see.

Lol nice... Atleast you held your own.

I got dooped into a Strongman Competition in April... so right now I am doing 3 days of weights, 3 days of Cardio/MMA style training and 1 day of Rest.

See how long this lasts before I fall apart lol.

Haha... Yes I am working about 65 - 70 hours a week right now.

This past week was great.
Monday - "MMA Cardio"
Tuesday - Chest/Tri/Shoulders
Wednesday - Back/Bis
Thursday - "MMA Cardio"
Friday - Legs
Saturday - "Gym Cardio"
Sunday - "Event Training"

Thats what it looks like right now.

Im back on some supplements (Monster Pump, Monster Maize, Metrx Protein, ZMA, Metamucil) for the first time in like 5 months.. so my weight actually climbed up a bit the past couple days, which is great. I am sure it will start dropping again.

Im having a little trouble with my diet... I need to be eating more meals right now. Its just tough with my work.

Work Schedule
Monday 5am - 8pm straight through
Tuesday 5am - 6am; 8am - 7pm
Wednesday 6am - 8pm straight through
Thursday 5am - 6am; 8am - 7pm
Friday 6am - 6pm straight through
Saturday 10 am - 12am

I dont know how many hours that is.. but its a bunch.

Ha.. ya.. Been going to the MMA gym 1 day a week right now as I started training for a Strongman Comp for April 10th in Dallas.

The MMA training is helping my flexibility and conditioning... I do a lot of shoulder prehab while im there too. So it works out well.

Rocket... Training has been great.

Monday - Maximum Effort Upper
Tuesday - Dynamic Lower
Wednesday MMA Gym... lots of cardio.
Thursday - Dynamic Upper
Friday - Maximum Effort Lower
Saturday - Events
Sunday - Off Day or make up day.

So im still going hard.. its just geared more towards Strongman at the moment. That will change after my april Competition. I will scale the weights back a bit and start hitting more conditioning. I would like to get to where I am lifting 3 days a week and doing MMA style stuff 3 days a week.
