Thank you, I try! It's the endurance that is kind of killing my runs. But hopefully I build up mine as I keep on practicing.

Thank you! I run before I lift, at the gym though, on a treadmill. I usually go at 1030/11 in the morning.

I've been having trouble logging in here for some reason so I wasnt able to update my log. I wonder if anyone else had the same problem?

Anyway, as usual, kept a copy on my phone so I'll just type them down here. I was able to keep a copy of my two training days:

Run time: 12:37 for 1.5km (nearly a mile I suppose - the treadmill I used this time was on km instead of miles so I got a little confused. But I think I should be tracking km instead of miles since the race is in km anyway)

Then I did kettlebell workouts again:

3 rounds

20 lunges x kettlebell curl
10 25lb kettlebell squats
10 15lb kettlebell sit and press
10 15lb kettlebell bob and weave
10 10lb kettlebell clean, squat and press

Followed by some core:
20 heel touches
2 30 sec plank
12 crunches
12 reverse crunches

Run time: 13:12 for 1.5 km

3 rounds, kettlebell

10 20lb high pulls
10 15lb bent over rows
10 20lb two arm swings
10 10lb two arm military press
25m farmer's walk at 15lb ea hand

3x12 10lb alt db curls
3x12 5lb single arm overhead triceps ext
3x12 10lb two arm overhead triceps ext
3x12 10lb db curls

30 sec plank

Cool down: 8:45 on the treadmill, distance is 0.82km

Monday:

This guy at the gym is helping me perfect my olympic weight lifts, so I've been following this routine:

3 sets:
10 40lb hands free squat
10 40lb clean grip squat
10 40lb romanian deadlifts
10 40lb power shrugs
10 40lb hang pulls


1.6km run at 13:26

Wednesday:

3 sets:
10 40lb hands free squat
10 40lb clean grip squat
10 40lb romanian deadlifts
10 40lb power shrugs
10 40lb hang pulls

2km at 17:40 - a little slow. Wasn't really feeling my run that day.

--

Today:

40 minutes on the treadmill

3x10 15lb inclined db chest press
3x10 10lb inclined db flys
3x10 20lb machine chest press

Assessed my strength on deadlifts:
Warm up:
8x45lb barbell deadlifts
8x65lb
8x80lb
8x90lb

2 sets
5x115lb barbell deadlifts

- so far this is my max weight for deadlifts since doing keto. Tried to lift past 115, and put 130 but I can't lift it. lol.

Abs:

2 30sec plank
2x15 heel touches
2x15 reverse crunches
2x15 crunch kicks

Olympic lifts a great. I felt my overall strength increase when I started incorporating them at least once a week.
