To be honest, I would stop taking pre workouts. I used to try different ones often and Ive decided to just drop them altogether, heres why:
-could be a big contributor to adrenal fatigue if you drink a lot of other caffeinated beverages -tolerance, having to take more than recommended serving -$$ adds up over time trying different ones or buying more -bs fillers, dyes, etc -and if you work out towards nighttime you won't be able to sleep I know its hard at first but you will have a better sense of overall being if you drop the pre s. The best pre that Ive used is having raw ingredients ready, 3200 mg of beta alanine, l carnitine, creatine, l argamine, etc and anything else you feel necessary. This way you know exactly what your consuming for far less money. I also urge people to drop caffeine in general as you WILL feel much better after a couple of days, promise. |

I second the ON essential amino energy...i use it intra workout with creatine and i love it.
Also if you want over all energy...ever use a ec stack? Bronkaid + caffeine. Or primatene...i prefer bronkaid |

I used to drink coffee before a workout and ended up getting tired quickly and needed more time to rest. Now I drink coffee after my workout, about an hour later, and I'm fine. I know I have to drink less coffee, but ended up with 2 cups for a day.
