Eating within a 10-12 hour window

Any body eat all their daily calories within a 10 hour window? I've always started eating within minutes of waking up and had my last meal immediately before bed....... Dr Rhonda Patrick was on Joe Rogans podcast and she was taking about how she eats within a 9-10 hr window and how much better it is for her endurance in physical activity and lean body mass... I started with a 12 hour window just a few weeks ago and I've already lost 5 lbs(doesn't sound like much but I'm always lean) plus I just feel all around healthier..... anyone else?

yes!!!... i've been doing IF (intermittent fasting ) for years now. i love it...

no longer worry with tupperware and protein shakes all day... usually only eat lunch, a snack and dinner...

way easier to live life without worrying about 6plus meals all day.

been able to stay pretty lean year round and cut pretty easy for a 48 year old.

only thing i say is for gaining insane amounts of mass... i would have to go back to eating 6 plus meals... it would be hard for me to get a ton of calories in the 8 hour window.

but that's not my goal... to remain lean , jacked and tan is my goal and IF is the easiest way for me

I do what is best for me. My largest meal is breakfast, I eat less at lunchtime and take a double scooped protein shake for dinner. I avoid eating at bed time because of acid reflux.

It actually works best for my schedule, and I like the results.

I been eating every 2.5 hours a day starting at 345am til 830pm. I wake up in middle of night for a shake. I have no problem staying lean and gaining size. Right now I wake up on empty at 225 and hit the the bed at 232

I heard that podcast. I like her. I try to do her 10-12 hour thing.

It's definitely more convenient plus I'm the same way right now. I just want to be lean and mean. I plan on doing some BJJ competitions so we'll see how I perform while on this way of eating.

Lunch is my smallest meal but I have to eat a good size dinner if I want to make it until breakfast.

That's exactly how I have eaten for years. I hated if I got stuck on a work emergency or something and missed a meal. I would get really dizzy and feel like I was going hypo. Actually did that the first few days of trying this. One thing she said is eating so often your body gets dependent on carbohydrates for energy and doesn't know how to burn body fat properly. I dunno how true it is I've always been lean I want to try this more so to see if it really aides in athletic endurance.

yes... and you get used to higher blood sugar levels ... my fasted blood sugar went down on average... from 100 or a little over to about 85..

i was so used to 100 that if i dropped down much from that i would get the hypo feeling... as my body was only wanting to burn sugar...

IF does get you better at burning fat for fuel... since your sugar will be lower etc...
