Only after a long run. The tendons around my knee get super tight and can sometimes pop when I start stretching. Same thing, doesn't really hurt at the time, but often a little sore afterwards. The soreness usually goes away in a day, but I am always on AI. Doctor basically just refills my Mobic whenever I ask.

it could be an old scar tissue being released. if it's a tear, there'll be a swelling with excruciating pain.

If it's not hurting too bad probly ok. If you tore a tendon I'm sure you'd know it...

I was recently listening to an Orthopedic sports Dr. explain why it is bad to stretch your hamstrings while your knee is straight . That may be part of the problem if that is one of the things you do. I see people do it all the time as that is what they see other people do.

same as GF. Pop and nothing then delayed onset discomfort. If it is not hurts tremendously it is probably OK just don't push for a while.

Your getting old Q!

Like the others if nothing too bad pain wise, I would just take it slow and see....

All the time with Jiu Jitsu. Probably nothing major but just pay attention to it just in case its your LCL. Meniscus tears will pop like that and even lock up. Seem like its gone and then come back to haunt you again.
